Ask for the schedule in your own words.
Connect your Schedio account to Claude or ChatGPT, and you can ask about the week the way you would ask a colleague. “Who is on tonight?” “Put Maria on Tuesday.” “Anyone short next week?” It reads and writes the same schedule your team sees, as you, with exactly the access your own account has.
It takes one address and about twenty seconds, and you can disconnect it at any time.

Claude
- Open Claude in your browser and go to Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Paste the Schedio connector address below and continue.
- Claude opens a Schedio page asking what the connector may do. Sign in if you are not already, read what it is asking for, then choose Connect.
- You land back in Claude. Ask it something from the examples below.
ChatGPT
- ChatGPT supports custom connectors on its paid plans. Open Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose Create, or Add custom connector, depending on your plan.
- Paste the Schedio connector address below and continue.
- ChatGPT opens a Schedio page asking what the connector may do. Sign in if you are not already, read what it is asking for, then choose Connect.
- Start a new chat and ask it something from the examples below.
Menu names move around as these apps change. If you cannot find Connectors, search their settings for “connector” or “MCP” – it is the same thing, and it is the only place an address like ours is accepted.

What it can and cannot do
- It acts as you. The same locations, the same departments, the same people you can already see. A connected assistant can never do something your own account cannot.
- You choose what it may do when you connect it – reading the schedule, changing it, handling requests, writing to our support team. Each one is a separate choice.
- It asks before it changes anything. Claude and ChatGPT both prompt you before running anything that writes, and the assistant reads back what it is about to do.
- It cannot touch your account. No billing, no deleting the workspace, no changing anyone’s role. It also cannot sign in to Schedio in a browser – what it holds works at the connector address and nowhere else.
- You can disconnect it in one click, under Settings → Sign-in & security. It stops working on its next request.
The rules the app enforces apply here too. A scheduling rule that blocks a shift on the schedule page blocks it through an assistant; a manager who looks after one department cannot write into another; a workspace on hold cannot be rewritten. There is one set of rules, not a quieter set for assistants.
Common questions
Can the assistant see more than I can?
No. It acts as you. If you are a manager who looks after the front desk, it sees the front desk – the same locations, the same departments, the same people. A staff member’s assistant can read the schedule and handle their own requests, and nothing else.
Can it change something without asking me?
Every tool that changes the schedule or sends an email is marked as such, and both Claude and ChatGPT ask you before running one. Reading is not marked that way, so questions are answered straight away.
What can it never do?
It cannot change billing, delete your workspace, change anyone’s role, or read anything outside Schedio. It also cannot sign in to Schedio in a browser: the access it holds works at the connector address and nowhere else.
How do I disconnect it?
Open Settings, then Sign-in & security, and choose Disconnect next to the app. It stops working on its very next request, not at the end of some session. If you own the workspace, you can also see and disconnect every assistant anyone here has connected.
Does connecting it send our data to Anthropic or OpenAI?
Only what you ask about, when you ask. The assistant fetches the shifts or the people it needs to answer your question, and that text goes through the assistant the same way anything else you type there does. Schedio does not push anything to them in the background, and nothing is sent when you are not using it.
Which plans include this?
All of them. There is one Schedio plan at $49 a month, and the connector is part of it. Claude and ChatGPT set their own terms for custom connectors – ChatGPT currently offers them on paid plans.
What about Grok, or another assistant?
The connector follows the Model Context Protocol, so anything that speaks it and can sign in with OAuth will work. Grok does not do that yet; when it does, it will connect the same way.
