Subscribe to your shifts from your phone's calendar
Every team member has a personal calendar link — a secret URL your phone's calendar app can subscribe to. Once added, your shifts show up in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or any other calendar app, and they keep updating automatically. You don't need to open Schedio or even have a login.
Get your link
There are three ways to get the same link:
- In Schedio: open Profile → Calendar subscription and click Create calendar link. You can copy it from there any time.
- In the messaging bot: if you're connected to the Schedio bot on Telegram or WhatsApp, send the word
calendar(or tap Calendar link in the menu) and the bot replies with your link. - In schedule emails: every "Your shifts" email has an Add your shifts to your phone calendar link in the footer.
Add it to your calendar app
- iPhone (Apple Calendar): tap Open in calendar app on your profile, or go to Settings → Calendar → Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar and paste the link.
- Google Calendar: on a computer, open Google Calendar → next to "Other calendars" click + → From URL → paste the link. It then syncs to the Google Calendar app on your phone.
- Outlook: Calendar → Add calendar → Subscribe from web → paste the link.
Each shift appears with your role and location — for example "Front Desk — Northside Inn" — with the exact start and end times, plus any shift note.
How fresh is it?
Your calendar app decides how often it checks for updates — typically every few hours. The schedule inside Schedio and the messaging bot are always live; treat the phone calendar as a convenient mirror, not the second-by-second truth.
Keep the link private
The link is the key: anyone who has it can see your shifts (and nothing else). Don't post it anywhere public. If you think someone else got hold of it, open Profile → Calendar subscription and click Reset link — the old link stops working immediately and you get a fresh one to re-add. Revoke turns the feed off entirely.
Working at more than one location?
You'll see one link per location in your profile. Subscribe to each — most calendar apps show them as separate calendars you can colour differently.
