Analytics

Analytics gives you an overview of how staffing is going – a portfolio summary across all your locations for Owners, and a per-location detailed view for you and your Managers. It reads from the same coverage numbers as your schedule, so the two match.

Portfolio view (Owners)

If you run more than one location, Analytics opens on the portfolio: a table that ranks every location this week by how well it's covered, with an 8-week trend sparkline beside each one, plus headline numbers for the whole group – coverage filled, open shifts, overtime hours, and approvals waiting. Below it, a "Needs attention" feed lists the few items worth acting on – a location running short, a week that isn't posted far enough ahead, an unusual run of swaps. Click any location to open its detail view.

Location view (Owners + Managers)

For a single location you get the operational picture for the week: how full your coverage is, hours scheduled and how much of it is overtime, who's away, and a department-by-department heatmap that labels exactly where you're short – and by how many people – so "Saturday housekeeping is short 2" is stated directly instead of shown as an unlabelled red area. An action queue gathers the open shifts to fill plus the swap and time-off requests waiting on you, and you'll also see who's been posting the most alerts over the last month.

Where the numbers come from

Analytics is built on the same coverage engine as your live dashboard and schedule – required staffing versus what's actually scheduled – not a separate calculation. So set your coverage targets first; without them, the fill rate and the heatmap have nothing to measure against.

Analytics is about the week and the trend. For the minute-by-minute picture of right now, use the live dashboard; for the individual actions behind a number, the activity log.
