Daily operations
Analytics
Analytics shows you the patterns behind the day-to-day — where you keep running short, and whether shifts are actually getting worked. It's available to Owners and Managers, per location.
The four views
- Coverage by week — the percentage of required staffing you actually scheduled, plotted as a trend line. If the line drifts down, your schedule is falling behind your targets.
- Gap heatmap — a grid of 7 days by 24 hours showing where you've been short over the last 30 days. This is where the recurring Thursday-evening hole at Northside Inn jumps out.
- Top alert authors — who has posted the most alerts over the last 30 days. A spike from one department often points at an operational problem worth a closer look.
- Shift completion — completed versus missed shifts per week.
How fresh the numbers are
Data refreshes about every 15 minutes, and the page shows when it was last updated. For the minute-by-minute picture of today, use the Live dashboard instead — Analytics is about trends.
What to do with it
Make it a monthly habit:
- Recurring gaps in the heatmap usually mean your targets and your roster don't match. Fix them by adjusting your coverage targets, or treat the slot as a hiring signal.
- Rising missed-shift counts are an early warning. Catch them while they're a number on a chart, not a pattern your guests notice.
When you need to know who did what, rather than the trend, the activity log has the individual actions behind these numbers.
