Live dashboard

The Live dashboard shows today at one location and updates in real time – you never need to refresh. It's the screen to keep open at the desk through the day.

What's on the dashboard

Each card answers one question about right now:

• Who's on right now – the staff currently on shift, color-coded by role, so you can see at a glance how the location is staffed.
• Coverage for today – required versus scheduled staff per role, laid out on a timeline with a marker showing where "now" is. If the evening is short of staff, you'll see it hours ahead.
• Staff today – the full roster of everyone scheduled today.
• Coverage gaps – the unfilled coverage windows for the day, department by department. Acknowledged gaps show in grey and are not counted as open. Assigning and acknowledging happen on the Schedule page. See Open shifts.
• Alerts ticker – approved alerts scroll across the top of the dashboard, so "Elevator B is down" is visible to everyone watching. See Alerts.
• Recent handover notes – the latest notes for your departments. Owners only see this card for departments where they personally work shifts; otherwise handover notes stay working context for the team on shift. See Handover notes.
• Shifts up for swap – swap requests waiting on a decision, with approve and decline right there for managers. See Shift swaps.

When something isn't set up yet

If part of your workspace isn't configured, a Getting started card points you to the next step – for example setting up coverage, adding your team, or importing a schedule.

Using it through the day

Leave the dashboard open at the front desk or the manager's station. Because it updates live, the moment a manager at Northside Inn assigns an open shift or approves an alert, everyone looking at the screen sees it – there is no need to refresh and no need to ask whether the message arrived.
