What is Schedio?

Schedio is a live shift-scheduling workspace for teams that work in shifts – hotels, restaurants, clinics, stores and more. You build the week's schedule, your team sees it right away, and Schedio flags the gaps before they become problems.

How the app is laid out

Everything lives in the left sidebar (on phones it becomes a bottom bar):

• Home – your starting screen: a welcome for owners, today's shifts for managers and staff. The live dashboard (today at a glance: who's in, what's coming up, where you're short) is one click away.
• Alerts & notes – alerts that need attention and handover notes between shifts.
• Schedule – the week grid where shifts are created, edited and published.
• Time off – absences and time-off requests.
• People – your team list.
• Coverage – staffing targets, visible to managers only.
• Analytics – managers and owners only.
• Requests – swaps and change requests, with a badge showing the pending count.
• Profile – your name, photo, language and personal settings.
• Settings – workspace setup, for managers and owners.

Who sees what

There are three roles: Owner, Manager and Staff. Owners and Managers build schedules and manage the workspace; Staff see the full week's schedule (read-only), act on their own shifts and make requests. The full breakdown is in Roles and permissions.

Built for your industry

Schedio supports 11 industries: Hospitality, Restaurant, Retail, Clinic, Beauty & spa, Fitness, Support desk, Security, Cleaning, Logistics and Dispatch. The terminology adapts to the one you pick – a hotel calls a location a "Property", a store calls it a "Store". So Maria at Northside Inn manages a Property, while a shop manager down the street manages a Store, in the same app.

50 languages

The app is available in 50 languages, and each person picks their own – your front desk can use English while housekeeping uses Spanish. Everyone changes it themselves in Your account.

Pricing

Every workspace starts with a 14-day free trial – every feature, no card required. After that there's one plan: $49/month per location. Details are in Billing.

Where to start

If you're setting up a new team, work through these in order:

1. Create your workspace – sign up and run the short setup wizard.
2. Add your team – add people to the schedule and invite them to the app.
3. Set up coverage – tell Schedio how many people you need, so it can warn you about gaps and fill shifts for you.
