Integrations

Connect Schedio to the tools your team already watches. Integrations live under Settings → Integrations and are managed by the Owner.

Connecting Slack

Click Add to Slack, pick the channel during the authorization step, and you're done. From then on, Schedio posts to that channel automatically.

What gets posted

Two kinds of messages reach your Slack channel:

• Alerts at or above the severity threshold you choose – Info, Warning or Urgent. See Alerts for what triggers each level.
• Coverage gaps – when Schedio detects that a window that should be staffed has nobody on. See Open shifts for how to fill them.

Schedio never posts schedules or personal data to Slack – only operational alerts and coverage gaps. Liam's phone number and Maria's shift times stay inside Schedio.

Options

• Per-location channels – each property can have its own channel. Click Set channel next to a location to override it; locations without an override use the workspace channel. Useful when Northside Inn and its sister property have separate managers watching separate channels.
• Send test – posts a test message so you can confirm the connection works.
• Disconnect – removes the connection anytime. You can reconnect later with Add to Slack.

Employee messaging bot

Separately from the Slack alerts above, Schedio runs a messaging bot that sends each employee their own schedule and a reminder before every shift – and lets them check what's next or request time off right in the chat.

There's nothing to set up at the workspace level: the bot is hosted by Schedio, so there are no tokens to create or accounts to configure. People connect individually – a manager creates a connect link from someone's card on the People page, or each person connects themselves under Settings → Profile. The link opens the bot already started; that's the whole setup. Anyone can disconnect from their profile at any time.

It's private and per-person: each employee only ever sees their own shifts, never the whole roster.

Both Telegram and WhatsApp are available – each person connects the one they already use and gets their schedule and reminders there.

What integrations are not

Signing in with Google or Microsoft is separate from integrations – that's just how you authenticate your own account, and it doesn't post anything anywhere. See Your account.
