Integrations

Connect Schedio to the tools your team already watches. Integrations live under Settings → Integrations and are managed by the Owner.

Connecting Slack

Click Add to Slack, pick the channel during the authorization step, and you're done. From then on, Schedio posts to that channel automatically.

What gets posted

Two kinds of messages reach your Slack channel:

  • Alerts at or above the severity threshold you choose — Info, Warning or Urgent. See Alerts for what triggers each level.
  • Coverage gaps — when Schedio detects that a window that should be staffed has nobody on. See Open shifts for how to fill them.

Schedio never posts schedules or personal data to Slack — only operational alerts and coverage gaps. Liam's phone number and Maria's shift times stay inside Schedio.

Options

  • Per-location channels — each property can have its own channel. Click Set channel next to a location to override it; locations without an override use the workspace channel. Handy when Northside Inn and its sister property have separate managers watching separate channels.
  • Send test — posts a test message so you can confirm everything is wired up.
  • Disconnect — removes the connection anytime. You can reconnect later with Add to Slack.

Coming soon

Telegram and WhatsApp appear in the integrations list as Coming soon. They aren't available yet.

What integrations are not

Signing in with Google or Microsoft is separate from integrations — that's just how you authenticate your own account, and it doesn't post anything anywhere. See Your account.

Email notifications also aren't managed here: each person configures their own. See Email notifications.
